What Attribution Means

Attribution answers questions like:

  • Where did this contact come from?

  • Which page or form created them?

  • Which source led to conversion?


Where to See Attribution

  1. Go to Contacts

  2. Open a contact profile

  3. Look for source or attribution information


Why Attribution Is Usually Read-Only

Attribution data is:

  • Automatically generated

  • Used for tracking and reporting

  • Connected to system logic

Editing attribution manually can break reporting accuracy.


When Attribution Matters

Attribution is useful when:
