Lists and Segmentation (Overview)

Lists allow you to view groups of contacts based on conditions. Lists do not change contacts. They only display them.

What Lists Are Used For

Lists help you:

  • View specific groups of contacts

  • Filter by criteria

  • Review segments before actions

Examples:

  • All active clients

  • All contacts with a specific tag

  • Contacts who booked a call


Where to Find Lists

  1. Go to Contacts

  2. Look for Lists or filtering options


How Lists Work

Lists are:

  • Dynamic

  • Automatically updated

  • Based on rules

If a contact meets the conditions, they appear in the list.


Important Safety Note

Lists do not send emails or trigger actions by themselves.

They are safe to explore and view.


Best Practice

Use lists to understand your data before taking action.

Do not delete or edit system-created lists unless you understand their purpose.
